About California Proposition 65
California’s Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, requires businesses to provide a clear warning if their products expose consumers to certain chemicals known to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
At FENGE, we are committed to full transparency and compliance with applicable regulations, including Proposition 65. Some of our products may contain materials such as wood, plastics, metal components, or adhesives that could include trace amounts of substances listed under Proposition 65.
Why is there a warning label?
Proposition 65 warnings do not necessarily mean a product is dangerous or unsafe. The law requires warnings even for exposure levels far below those known to cause harm. The purpose is to inform consumers of potential exposures, however small or infrequent they may be.
Are FENGE products safe to use?
Yes. All FENGE products are designed and manufactured with safety and quality in mind. The materials we use meet industry standards and are safe for everyday use. We include Proposition 65 warnings out of caution and in accordance with the law.
